How to take
Adult dose
Adults (aged 15 and older): Take 3 tablets 3 times a day. Take with water or warm water after meals.
Child dose
Ages 8 to under 15: Take 2 tablets 3 times a day. Take with water or warm water after meals.
Precautions
It is safe for children under 8 years old not to take this medication. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Those receiving treatment from a doctor, on anticoagulant warfarin, have kidney issues, or are taking other medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for about 2 weeks, or if symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea persist or worsen, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist.
