This medicine is used to relieve inflammation and pain in the joints, such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It also helps improve various inflammatory pains, such as periarthritis of the shoulder, toothache, inflammation after trauma, lower back pain, sciatica, and is effective for pain due to non-articular rheumatism. Overall, this drug is used to reduce pain caused by inflammation and improve discomfort in daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 100 mg of aceclofenac twice a day every 12 hours. Patients with liver impairment: Administer an initial dose of 100 mg per day. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. Adjust dosage as needed according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions of this drug, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This drug should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before taking if you regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day. This drug may cause gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is needed. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so patients with risk factors for heart disease or stroke should use it cautiously. The longer the dosage and duration, the higher the cardiovascular risk may be, so it is advisable to take the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible. If cardiovascular symptoms occur, immediate evaluation by a doctor is necessary, and patients with a history of cerebrovascular bleeding should take special caution.
