Inhibition of thrombus formation and reduction of cardiovascular risk in myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, etc.
This medication inhibits thrombus formation in cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, and unstable angina, promoting smooth blood flow. It is also used to prevent thrombus formation after coronary artery bypass surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. Additionally, it helps reduce cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients with complex risk factors such as a family history of ischemic heart disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes. Therefore, this drug is effectively used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
(Enteric-coated tablets) Adults: 1 tablet once daily, do not take high doses without a doctor's prescription. (Enteric-coated capsules) Adults: 1 capsule once daily, do not take high doses without a doctor's prescription.

In particular, there is a risk of serious side effects such as Reye's syndrome in children under 14 years of age, so caution should be exercised when administering to those with chickenpox or influenza. During chronic disease treatment, regular blood tests and liver function tests should be performed, and if abnormalities are noted, dosing should be halted or adjusted. In acute diseases, dosing should be based on the severity of symptoms, and long-term use should be avoided. Because this drug increases the risk of bleeding, special care is required before and after surgery, and overdose can lead to severe toxicity symptoms. Moreover, this drug may interact with multiple medications; thus, a consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential if other medications are being taken. In pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, this drug may pose risks to the fetus and the mother, so its use should be avoided. In breastfeeding, this drug transfers into breast milk, so it is safest not to take it.
