How to take

Adult dose

The recommended adult dosage is 1 tablet of Valsartan 80 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily, taken with a small amount of water, regardless of meals. Valsartan 160 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg is applied when prescribed for blood pressure lowering. For patients with renal impairment, there is no need for dosage adjustment in mild to moderate cases. For patients with liver impairment without cholestasis, use Valsartan 80 mg daily.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to this drug or its components, or with certain liver or kidney diseases should not take it. Patients with electrolyte imbalances, renal or liver dysfunction, elderly patients, and those with heart conditions should use this medication with caution.
