Vitamins D and E help fill the body's nutritional needs when supplemented during pregnancy or lactation, growth, and old age. The vitamins included in this medicine are particularly used to prevent bone and dental growth deficiencies and rickets.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults and children over 12 years old, 1 capsule once a day

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), patients with sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), and individuals with kidney disease. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medicine or any of its ingredients should also refrain from taking it. Babies under 3 months of age and patients with kidney stones should not take this medicine. Children under 1 year of age, patients receiving medical treatment, children who are exposed to sunlight often and have a normal diet, pregnant women or women of childbearing age, breastfeeding women, premature infants, and those with a history of kidney stones must consult a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Caution is particularly needed as vitamin D may be secreted in breast milk, potentially causing hypercalcemia in newborns. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, constipation, rash or redness appear during the administration of this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if menstruation begins earlier than usual, becomes heavier, or bleeding persists for a long time, consultation is required. Those taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or individuals at risk for thrombosis should be cautious, as the vitamin E component of this medicine may increase the risk of thrombosis. If overdosed or if symptoms do not improve after more than a month of use, consult a professional immediately. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and care must be taken to supervise children closely when administering this medicine. During storage, keep it out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. It is also important not to transfer it to another container to prevent misuse and to maintain the quality of the medicine.
