Inhibition of thrombus formation and reduction of cardiovascular risks such as myocardial infarction and cerebrovascular accident
This medicine is used to inhibit thrombus formation in cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and unstable angina. It also helps prevent thrombus formation after coronary artery bypass surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. Additionally, it reduces cardiovascular risks in high-risk patients with various risk factors such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes. Therefore, this medicine is effectively used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
(Enteric-coated tablet) Adults take 1 tablet once daily before meals with sufficient water. (Enteric-coated capsule) Adults take 1 capsule once daily before meals with sufficient water.
Individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine due to an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taken with alcohol. This medicine should not be used in certain patients. For example, individuals with an allergy to this medicine or similar ingredients, patients with peptic ulcer, those with a history of aspirin-induced asthma, hemophiliacs, individuals with severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe cardiac failure, those with a tendency to bleed, patients on high doses of methotrexate, and pregnant women in the third trimester should avoid this medicine. Caution is required when administering this medicine to individuals with renal or hepatic impairment, cardiovascular circulation abnormalities, a history of blood disorders, bronchial asthma, preoperative patients, children under the age of 3, those with drug hypersensitivity or allergy history, elderly patients, those taking anticoagulants, and patients with certain enzyme deficiencies. This medicine may cause various side effects including allergic reactions, skin rashes, gastrointestinal disturbances, blood abnormalities, hepatic and renal dysfunction, so if any abnormal symptoms occur during use, the medicine should be discontinued immediately, and medical advice should be sought. In particular, in children, while rare, serious Reye's syndrome may occur during viral infections, so it should be used cautiously in children under the age of 14. This medicine may interact with other drugs, so if it is to be taken with anticoagulants, antidiabetic drugs, certain NSAIDs, lithium, antidepressants, etc., consultation with a healthcare provider is necessary. Special caution is needed during pregnancy, and it should be avoided in the third trimester as it may pose risks to both the fetus and the mother. If breastfeeding, it is also advisable not to take this medicine as it can be passed into breast milk. Elderly patients are at a higher risk for side effects, so they should start with a small amount and carefully monitor their condition during use. This medicine is made in an enteric-coated form, so care must be taken to avoid damaging the enteric coating, and it is advisable not to consume it with specific alkalizers. Lastly, it should be stored out of the reach of children, kept in its original container, and transferring to other containers should be avoided as it may increase the risk of degradation in drug quality or misuse.

This medicine may increase the risk of bleeding and reduce kidney function when combined with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and salicylate preparations. Additionally, caution is advised when taking with anticoagulants, ibuprofen, naproxen, certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, thrombolytics, other platelet aggregation inhibitors, hemostatic agents, diabetes medications (insulin preparations, tolbutamide, etc.), uricosuric agents (benzbromarone, probenecid), thiazide diuretics, lithium preparations, and certain other drugs.
This medicine may be sensitive to air and moisture; therefore, it must be stored in a tightly closed container. It is also advisable to avoid direct sunlight and keep it at room temperature, i.e., below 25 degrees Celsius.
