Adult dose

Take the recommended dose of 25 to 50 mg orally about 1 hour before sexual activity once a day. Depending on the case, it may also be taken between 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity. Place on the tongue and allow it to dissolve without water immediately after removing it from individual packaging. If plasma concentration may be increased, adjust the initial dose to 25 mg.

This medication requires special caution for patients with cardiovascular diseases or those taking medications that may affect blood pressure. Taking this medication with nitrate compounds or NO donors may cause excessive drops in blood pressure, so consultation with a physician is essential. Patients with heart conditions may find sexual activity itself risky, so cardiovascular status should be thoroughly checked before using this medication. Due to its vascular dilation effect, blood pressure may temporarily drop when lying down, so patients with heart disease should be more cautious. Patients with recent severe heart issues, hypotension, hypertension, or specific ophthalmic diseases should safely avoid using this medication. If an erection lasts for more than 4 hours after taking this medication, immediate medical assistance should be sought, as untreated conditions may cause permanent damage. Patients with specific heart valve diseases or severe blood pressure regulation issues may be sensitive to this medication, requiring caution. Taking this medication alongside certain antiviral drugs may significantly increase plasma concentration, necessitating dose adjustments. Formulations containing aspartame, an artificial sweetener, should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria, and daily intake limits must be adhered to. Patients who are allergic to this medication or are currently taking nitrate compounds should not use it. Children under 18 or women should not use this medication. Patients for whom sexual activity is not advised due to cardiovascular diseases should also refrain from taking this medication. When using this medication, dose adjustments or careful administration are needed in elderly patients, those with liver or kidney dysfunction, and patients with specific ophthalmic diseases. Headaches, flushing, dyspepsia, dizziness, visual disturbances, and other side effects may commonly occur; if symptoms are severe, consult a physician. Visual disturbances or dizziness may occur when driving or operating machinery, so caution is necessary. This medication should not be taken with other erectile dysfunction treatments, and potential interactions with other drugs should be disclosed to the physician. Headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, urinary tract infection, visual disturbances (temporary color vision changes, increased light sensitivity, blurred vision), dizziness, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, eye pain, glare, photophobia, color vision changes, eye redness, eye fatigue, eyelid swelling, tachycardia, palpitations, facial flushing, hypotension, nosebleed, sinus congestion, throat discomfort, muscle pain, limb pain, priapism, increased erection, hot sensation, etc.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air, moisture, and light. The recommended storage temperature is between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
