Adult dose

As sildenafil, the recommended dosage is to take 25 to 50 mg orally about 1 hour before sexual activity, once a day. In some cases, it can be administered 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity. The dosage may be adjusted based on efficacy and tolerance.

This medication acts to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure, so caution is required if taken with nitrate medications or NO donors, as it may lower blood pressure too much. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should consult their physician before using this medication, and it is safe not to use it in patients with poor heart conditions. This medication is a treatment for erectile dysfunction and is contraindicated for patients at high cardiovascular risk, or those who have recently experienced myocardial infarction or stroke. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, seek medical attention immediately, as untreated conditions may result in permanent damage. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, elderly patients, or those taking specific medications require dosage adjustments, so follow the physician's instructions. If vision changes, sudden vision loss, or hearing loss occurs, stop taking this medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. It is not approved for use in pregnant women or children under 18 years of age. Headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, urinary tract infection, visual disturbances (color vision anomalies, increased light sensitivity, blurred vision), diarrhea, dizziness, rash, drowsiness, blurred vision, eye pain, photophobia, diplopia, conjunctival hyperemia, eye sensation anomalies, eyelid edema, tachycardia, palpitations, hypotension, nasal congestion, nosebleeds, sinus congestion, throat tightness, nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, dry mouth, oral sensory suppression, myalgia, limb.
