This medication is used to prevent and treat folic acid deficiency. How to take

Adult dose

For the treatment of folic acid deficiency or deficiencies caused by other medications: take 0.25 to 1 mg of folic acid daily. For the prevention of folic acid deficiency and in diseases that increase the demand for folic acid, take 0.1 to 0.25 mg daily.

Child dose
