How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication should not be taken with nitrate compounds or NO donors, which lower blood pressure, as it may lead to excessively low blood pressure. Always consult a physician before taking this medication. Patients with cardiovascular diseases must carefully assess their heart condition before taking this medication, and it is advisable not to use it if there is a risk to the heart. This medication has a vasodilatory effect, which may cause a temporary drop in blood pressure, so patients with unstable blood pressure or heart conditions should exercise special caution. If an erection persists for more than 4 hours, immediate medical attention must be sought, as untreated cases can cause damage to penile tissues. Patients with specific heart diseases, those with significantly high or low blood pressure, or those with pigmentary retinopathy should use this medication with caution, as its safety and efficacy have not been established. This medication is not for use in pediatric or female patients under 18 years old. For patients with impaired liver or kidney function, the elderly, and those on specific medications, dosage adjustments may be necessary. If symptoms such as dizziness, visual disturbances, severe headache, or chest pain occur while taking the medication, consult a doctor immediately. Interactions may occur if taken with alpha-blockers or certain antibiotics, antifungals, or HIV treatments, so it is essential to inform the prescribing physician of all medications being used. Caution is advised, as taking this medication with alcohol or a high-fat meal may delay its effects. This medication does not have any preventive effect against sexually transmitted diseases, so separate preventive measures should be taken for safer sexual practices. Caution is necessary while driving or operating machinery as visual disturbances or dizziness may occur. Overdosage may exacerbate symptoms such as headaches, flushing, dizziness, and indigestion, so it is important to adhere to the prescribed dose. Keep out of reach of children and do not transfer to another container.
