This medication is primarily used for relief of pain and inflammation associated with degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis), periarthritis of the shoulder, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, lateral epicondylitis known as tennis elbow, myalgia, and post-traumatic swelling and pain. These conditions are accompanied by inflammation and pain, and the medication helps improve symptoms through analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is suitable for treatment aimed at restoring joint function and enhancing comfort in daily life. Therefore, it is effectively used for degenerative arthritis or various inflammatory disorders around the shoulder, myalgia, and relief of pain after trauma.

How to apply

Adult use

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 4 times a day.

Precautions

This medication contains indomethacin and may cause specific allergic reactions. Therefore, individuals who are hypersensitive to this medication or indomethacin preparations or have a history of such reactions should not use it. People who have experienced asthma attacks due to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may also face severe asthma attacks when using this medication, so they should avoid it. Additionally, patients who have had bronchospasm, rhinitis, or angioedema due to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should refrain from using this medication. This medication is not intended for use in children under the age of 11. Pregnant women in their third trimester should not use this medication as it may affect the delivery process. This medication should not be applied around the eyes, on mucous membranes, on broken skin, inflamed areas, or fungal infection sites. Caution is needed, as applying it to damaged skin may cause rashes or irritation. During use, it should not be taken with medications that may interact, such as coumarin anticoagulants, hypoglycemic agents, and thyroid hormones. Patients with bronchial asthma, psoriasis, pregnant women in early or middle stages, nursing mothers, individuals with allergic constitutions, or those with a previous history of drug allergies should consult a healthcare professional before use. This medication contains sodium bisulfite, which may cause allergic reactions or asthma attacks in sensitive individuals. If any abnormal symptoms such as itching, rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, headache, or dizziness occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve within 5-6 days, it is important to seek a doctor's advice. This medication must be used according to the recommended dose and duration, as excessive use over large areas for long periods may lead to systemic side effects. Avoid contact with eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water. After use, wash hands thoroughly, and this medication should be used externally only.
