SC Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply as an ointment 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 milligrams of Lidocaine) 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Do not exceed a maximum dose of 2 grams (184 milligrams of Lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication should not be used if the patient or their partner is allergic to this medication or other amide-type local anesthetics. Additionally, it should not be applied to areas with wounds or inflammation on the skin. It is also safe not to use this medication on a partner who is pregnant. Patients with liver or kidney problems should use this medication with caution. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so it should be used cautiously by those who are allergic or hypersensitive to this ingredient. If a rash or irritation occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if the symptoms persist. It is advisable not to use this medication for longer than 3 months without medical advice. This medication is for external use only and should never be applied to the eyes or nose. It is advisable to avoid applying multiple times in the same area consecutively. This medication should be stored out of reach of children in a safe place, avoiding high temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, very cold places, and direct sunlight. After use, do not burn the medication; dispose of it properly.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. The storage temperature should be kept between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. Proper storage will help maintain the medication's efficacy for a longer period.
