This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as external factors like surgery, drug-induced damage, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

0.15%, 0.18%: Instill 1 drop 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust accordingly depending on symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to protein-based drugs. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal disorders, or a feeling of foreign body sensation may occur, and if any of these symptoms appear, stop using immediately and consult a doctor. Sometimes, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, and usage should also be stopped, and appropriate treatment sought when such symptoms arise. Using this medication with other eye drops may lead to an increased incidence of adverse reactions, so administer this drug at least 30 minutes apart from other drops. This medication is for ocular use only and should not be applied to other areas, and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyelids or eyelashes. If the tip of the container gets contaminated, the solution may be spoiled, so do not use any contaminated solution. The preservative contained in this medication may adhere to soft contact lenses, so lens wearers should avoid using it and must wait at least 15 minutes after administration before wearing lenses. To prevent contamination, it is recommended not to share with others. Store out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. Do not transfer the solution to another container, and do not use any remaining medication after 8 weeks of opening.
