View approved original text

This medication effectively controls blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension, reducing cardiovascular burden. It also helps lower the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality due to cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients aged over 55 who cannot use ACE inhibitors. It can be safely administered to high-risk diabetic patients with a history of major cardiovascular events or signs of end-organ damage. This contributes to effectively improving patients' cardiovascular health and preventing serious complications. In summary, this medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension and reduction of cardiovascular disease risk.
