This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or any of its components. During use, neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disturbances, and dizziness may occur. Eye-related side effects such as keratitis, eye pain, dryness, itching, discharge, and redness may occur rarely. Respiratory symptoms such as nasal dryness or rhinitis have also been reported. Skin reactions, such as dry mouth or contact dermatitis, may occur rarely. Fatigue may also be felt. This medication is a non-sedating antihistamine, and vision may be temporarily blurred after instillation, so caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. It is advisable to avoid driving or using machinery until vision clears up. If there is no effect with prolonged use, it should not be continued, and patients on steroid therapy may require medication adjustments as directed by a physician. This medication contains ingredients that can discolor contact lenses and cause eye irritation, so lenses should be worn at least 15 minutes after instillation. Avoid wearing contact lenses when the eyes are red. There is insufficient research on the use during pregnancy, so the risks and benefits to the fetus should be carefully considered under a physician's judgment. If breastfeeding, it should also be discussed with a physician as the medication may pass into breast milk. Safety and efficacy in children under the age of 3 have not been established, so caution is needed for use. Elderly patients may use it without special dose adjustments. This medication should be used only locally in the eyes and not for any other purpose. Care should be taken to avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the eye, and the cap should be tightly closed after use to maintain cleanliness. When using with other eye drops, they should be administered with an interval of at least 5 minutes, and ointment should be used last. When storing, it should be kept in a cool place away from direct sunlight, out of reach of children, and should not be transferred to another container. In case of overdose, immediate medical observation and management are required.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication may be sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that does not allow light to enter. Additionally, to maintain its effectiveness, it is advisable to store it at room temperature, between 1°C and 30°C.
