Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if the person regularly consumes more than three alcoholic drinks per day, as the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding may increase. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like this one may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular adverse reactions such as cardiovascular thrombosis, myocardial infarction, and stroke, so individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be particularly cautious. While taking this medication, cardiovascular adverse reactions may occur, so the condition should be closely monitored, and if any abnormal symptoms appear, immediate action should be taken. Patients with hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, peripheral artery disease, or cerebrovascular disease should use this medication cautiously and avoid high doses. NSAIDs can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so elderly patients or those on long-term medication should be particularly vigilant. Gastrointestinal adverse reactions can occur suddenly without warning symptoms, so if there are any abnormal symptoms during use, consult with medical personnel immediately. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver disorders, kidney disorders, heart failure, or hypertension should not take this medication. People allergic to any component of this medication or those with asthma, hypersensitivity to aspirin, or other NSAIDs should also avoid use. In late pregnancy, this medication should not be used as it poses a risk of prematurely closing the ductus arteriosus in the fetus. This medication should not be taken in excess of the recommended dose, and it is safest not to take it in conjunction with other NSAIDs. During breastfeeding, this drug can pass into breast milk and cause serious adverse reactions in infants, so nursing should be discontinued or medication should be stopped. Individuals with blood disorders, liver disorders, kidney disorders, heart diseases, hypertension, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, elderly patients, pregnant women, and nursing mothers must consult with medical personnel before use. Those taking low-dose aspirin should be cautious, as this medication may decrease the effect of aspirin and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may interact with several drugs, so if taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, consult with medical personnel. If severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, difficulty breathing, heart problems, kidney problems, liver function abnormalities, bleeding, or other symptoms occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult with medical personnel. This medication should be used at the minimum dose for the shortest duration necessary, and regular blood tests and liver function tests are required with long-term use. During acute pain or fever treatment, limit the duration of use and consult with medical personnel if symptoms persist. This medication may worsen hypertension, so blood pressure should be monitored periodically during use, and patients with heart failure should be cautious of possible fluid retention and edema. Patients with impaired kidney function or the elderly should be cautious when taking this medication due to the risk of kidney damage, and most recover upon discontinuation of use. After 20 weeks of pregnancy, there is a risk of fetal kidney function abnormalities and oligohydramnios, so use the minimum dose for the shortest duration and ultrasound monitoring may be necessary. This medication must be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container, as transferring to another container may lead to quality degradation or misuse.
