Treatment of chronic multiple arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis (osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis) and alleviation of inflammation and pain.
This medication is used for chronic multiple arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, among other joint and inflammatory diseases. It also helps alleviate painful swelling and inflammation caused by trauma or postoperative complications. This drug assists in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever, promoting patient recovery. In summary, it is used to alleviate pain and inflammation in various joint diseases and inflammatory conditions.
Adults: Take 300 mg of dexibuprofen per dose, 2 to 4 times daily. Note: Do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.
This medication may cause gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This drug may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, thus caution is particularly needed in individuals with a history of heart disease or stroke, or those with risk factors. It may cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, and perforation, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be particularly careful. Patients with gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, or hypertension should not take this medication. Taking this drug along with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications may increase the risk of gastric bleeding, so concomitant use should be avoided. Women who are breastfeeding should discontinue nursing or stop taking this medication as it can transfer through breast milk, potentially causing adverse reactions in infants. Dizziness or fatigue may occur during use, so caution is recommended when driving or operating machinery. If there are blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, hypertension, heart failure, or allergy history, consultation with healthcare professionals is mandatory before use. This medication can cause serious side effects such as skin rash, difficulty breathing, and severe gastrointestinal symptoms, so if these symptoms occur, it must be discontinued immediately and a doctor consulted. Long-term or high-dose use may lead to liver dysfunction, kidney damage, and increased blood pressure, necessitating regular check-ups. In late pregnancy, it may be harmful to the fetus; therefore, it should not be taken after six months of pregnancy. This medication should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, and patients should monitor for adverse reactions during treatment. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention for appropriate treatment. Store this medication in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight.
