View approved original text

This medication helps to control blood lipid levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. In particular, it reduces total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, Apo-B protein, and triglyceride levels, while increasing the level of HDL-cholesterol, known as good cholesterol, contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. This drug is used as an adjunct to dietary therapy, helping to improve blood lipid balance and maintain healthy blood vessel conditions. Therefore, it is effectively used in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia.
