Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had an allergic reaction to any of its components. This medication contains lactose, and should not be given to patients with hereditary issues like galactose intolerance who cannot break down lactose. Patients with poor liver function should be careful when using this medication, as blood concentration may increase. There is insufficient experience in using this medication in patients with serious heart or cerebrovascular issues; it should be given cautiously. Elderly patients may have reduced liver function, which can delay the elimination of this medication and increase drug concentration, so caution is necessary. Patients taking other medications that lower blood pressure or certain medications such as PDE5 inhibitors should be careful, as they may experience exacerbated hypotension due to interactions. When taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, vertigo, and hypotension may occur, so it is advisable to avoid working at heights or driving, especially when first starting or when the dose is increased. Taking too much may cause excessive hypotension, so it is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage. This medication does not treat the underlying cause but alleviates symptoms; if ineffective, other treatment methods should be considered. Keep out of reach of children, and take the medication out of its packaging before use to avoid injury to the esophagus if swallowed whole. Elderly patients should be closely monitored for liver function and should use this medication cautiously; any unusual reactions should be promptly reported to a healthcare professional.
