This medication is used when two components, Amlodipine (S-Amlodipine) and Atorvastatin, are needed together. Amlodipine treats hypertension and angina, especially stable angina and variant angina, and helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients with coronary artery disease and also decreases risks after vascular interventions. Atorvastatin is effective in lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke, and in improving serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels. This medication is used to improve conditions in patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, and dyslipidemia.
