This medication improves symptoms by inhibiting thrombus formation in cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, and unstable angina pectoris. It also helps prevent complications by preventing thrombus formation in patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. It is effective in reducing cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients with multiple risk factors such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes. This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily; therefore, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, people who are allergic to this medication or similar components, those with peptic ulcer, individuals with a history of aspirin-induced asthma, hemophiliacs, patients with severe liver or kidney impairment, severe heart failure patients, individuals with a tendency to bleed, those taking high doses of methotrexate, and pregnant women in the third trimester should not take this medication. Patients with kidney impairment, cardiovascular circulatory dysfunction, liver impairment, heart dysfunction, blood disorders, bronchial asthma, preoperative patients, children under 3 years old, individuals with a history of allergies, the elderly, patients taking anticoagulants, and those with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency should use this medication cautiously. This medication can cause serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis; therefore, if symptoms such as difficulty breathing, diffuse flushing, or hives appear, treatment should be stopped immediately, and medical assistance should be sought. Severe skin adverse reactions may occur rarely, so if symptoms such as skin rash or mucosal damage appear, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Blood-related symptoms can also occur rarely; if symptoms such as anemia or thrombocytopenia appear, immediate consultation with medical personnel is necessary. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting may occur, and prolonged use may lead to gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, so caution is necessary. Neurological symptoms such as tinnitus, dizziness, and headache may occur, and if these symptoms persist, the dosage should be adjusted or stopped. Liver and kidney impairments have been reported rarely, so regular checks are necessary for those with liver or kidney function issues. This medication should be administered with caution to children under the age of 14 with viral diseases, and their condition should be closely monitored after administration. Regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted during prolonged use to check for abnormalities, and appropriate dosages should be used for acute diseases based on symptoms. Children with high fever, the elderly, and patients with chronic diseases should be closely observed after taking the medication. This medication may increase the risk of bleeding before and after surgery; therefore, patients scheduled for surgery must inform their medical personnel. Overdose may lead to symptoms of poisoning, and in severe cases, it may result in death, so the dosage must be strictly adhered to. This medication should be discussed with a healthcare professional if used for other cardiovascular purposes, as self-medication may be risky. Due to its antiplatelet aggregation effect, there is an increased risk of bleeding; thus, consult medical personnel immediately if bleeding symptoms occur. Patients with gout should be cautious as this medication may reduce uric acid excretion and worsen symptoms. Taking this medication with certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may reduce its effectiveness or increase side effects, so it’s important to consult a doctor. This medication may interact with anticoagulants, thrombolytics, diabetes treatments, etc., increasing bleeding risk; therefore, dosage adjustments and caution are essential for those taking such medications. During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, it can have serious effects on both the fetus and the mother; therefore, it should not be taken, and it should also not be used during breastfeeding. Elderly patients may experience adverse reactions more easily, so they should start at a lower dosage and monitor their condition while taking it. Care should be taken to ensure that the enteric-coated formulation is not damaged, and it should not be mixed with certain alkalis.
