Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, which can pose a risk of angina; therefore, it is important to carefully monitor for symptoms such as chest pain. It should not be used in patients with a tendency to bleed or those at high risk of bleeding, including recent patients who have suffered a hemorrhagic stroke or undergone surgery. It is also contraindicated in patients with congestive heart failure as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with known allergic reactions to this drug or its components, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing women should not take this medication. Caution is required for patients taking other blood-related medications such as anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or thrombolytics due to the increased risk of bleeding. Women during menstruation should be cautious due to the bleeding risk. Patients with coronary artery stenosis may experience aggravated angina due to increased heart rate from this medication. Patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment may also be affected in their metabolism and excretion of this drug, necessitating careful administration. Diabetic patients may experience bleeding side effects more easily, so caution is warranted. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension should manage blood pressure adequately while taking this medication. This medication can cause side effects such as headache, diarrhea, palpitations, joint pain, and chest discomfort; if serious side effects are suspected, immediate consultation with a healthcare provider is advised. Pregnant and nursing women should avoid this medication, as it may affect the fetus or newborn. Safety in children and newborns has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is advised. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, requiring dosage adjustments. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as headache, diarrhea, hypotension, and tachycardia may occur; caution is necessary, and if overdose is suspected, a healthcare facility should be visited immediately. This medication may increase blood concentration when taken with food, thus increasing the risk of side effects; it is best taken on an empty stomach and should especially be avoided after high-fat meals. Caution is advised regarding dizziness before driving or operating machinery. This medication is metabolized by certain liver enzymes, so interactions may occur when taken with other drugs, and it is crucial to inform healthcare providers about any medications being taken.
