Adult dose

The recommended dose is 1 capsule (0.5 mg) once daily. Swallow this medicine whole without chewing or splitting the capsule, because exposure to the capsule contents may cause irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa. This medicine may be taken with or without food. No dosage adjustment is necessary in patients with renal impairment or in elderly patients. The recommended dose has not been established in patients with hepatic impairment because no data are available on administration of this medicine to such patients.

This drug is absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not touch or handle this drug. If the capsule is broken and the medication comes into contact with the skin, it must be washed immediately with soap and water. Caution should also be taken to avoid contact with children, and if contact occurs, immediate washing is necessary. Women, children under 18, and individuals allergic to this drug or similar ingredients should not take this medication. Adult males planning to conceive should consult their doctor before taking this medication as it may affect fertility. Patients with urinary issues or compromised liver function should be more cautious when using this drug. Additionally, if taken with certain strong medications, there may be changes in drug concentration, so inform the physician. During the use of this medication, side effects related to sexual function such as erectile dysfunction, reduced libido, and ejaculation disorders may occur, and in some cases, symptoms may persist even after discontinuation. This drug may affect the results of blood tests used for prostate cancer screening, so regular check-ups are needed and PSA levels should be interpreted according to the doctor's instructions. Blood donation should not be done during the use of this drug and should be avoided for at least 6 months after discontinuation. Rarely, long-term use may cause abnormalities in the breasts, so if lumps or discharge occur, it's important to inform a doctor immediately. There is no specific antidote for an overdose, so if symptoms appear, immediate medical attention should be sought. This drug should be kept out of reach of children and should be stored in its original container for safety. Lastly, this drug has a low possibility of affecting driving or machine operating ability, but caution is advised if any adverse reactions occur.
