View approved original text

Olmesartan Medoxomil and Hydrochlorothiazide are used for the treatment of essential hypertension, and can effectively lower blood pressure when used in combination, especially when monotherapy does not provide adequate blood pressure control. This medication improves hypertension by dilating blood vessels and promoting sodium excretion in the body.
