Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have an allergic reaction to the active ingredient or its constituents. Neurological symptoms such as headaches, taste abnormalities, and dizziness may occur when using this medication. Symptoms such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dryness of the eyes, itching, eye discharge, and eye redness may frequently occur, so caution is advised. Additionally, symptoms like photophobia, blurred vision, and eyelid redness may rarely occur. There have also been reports of symptoms such as nasal dryness, rhinitis, dry mouth, contact dermatitis, and fatigue. After using this medication, increased sensitivity of the eyes or symptoms such as lethargy, cold-like symptoms, nausea, pharyngitis, erythema, abdominal pain, abnormal liver function, elevated blood pressure, changes in blood cell count, and urinary difficulties may occur, so consult healthcare professionals if any unusual symptoms arise. This medication contains phosphates, which may rarely lead to calcification of the cornea in patients with severe corneal damage, so caution should be exercised. Vision may be temporarily blurred after instillation, so one should wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery. Patients who have been on long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce the steroid dosage under the supervision of healthcare professionals when using this medication. Patients with seasonal allergies are advised to use this medication before symptoms start and to continue during the duration of symptoms. If there is no effect, it is advisable not to use the medication for a long period. Benzalkonium chloride contained in this product may cause eye irritation and discoloration of soft contact lenses, so lenses should not be worn for at least 15 minutes after instillation. It is recommended to avoid wearing contact lenses when the eyes are red. This medication should be used locally in the eyes only and should not be taken orally or used as an injection. To prevent contamination during instillation, take care not to let the tip of the container touch the eye or hands, and ensure the cap is tightly closed after use. If using with other eye drops, allow at least a 5-minute interval between applications, and if using any eye ointments, it is advised to apply them last. Single-use products should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining contents should be discarded. When first using, discard 1-2 drops to remove any fragments from the container. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Pregnant or nursing women should carefully consult a physician regarding any effects this medication may have on the fetus or infant before use. For children under 3 years of age, safety and efficacy have not been established, so caution is necessary.
