How to take

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be used in individuals with known allergies to this drug or its components, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in patients undergoing kidney dialysis, in patients with severe liver impairment, in patients with biliary obstruction, in certain genetically predisposed lactose intolerant patients, or in specific diabetes patients. If symptoms such as chronic diarrhea, weight loss, or abdominal pain occur during treatment, medical consultation should be sought immediately, and if intestinal vascular edema occurs, the medication should be discontinued and careful observation should continue until symptoms fully resolve. Care should be taken to consult with a professional when taking this medication with other antihypertensives, potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium supplements, lithium, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers, due to potential interactions leading to side effects. The medication should be avoided during pregnancy due to the risk of serious harm or death to the fetus, and breastfeeding mothers should also discontinue either breastfeeding or the medication if adverse reactions occur in the baby.
