Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medicine is 1 capsule (0.5mg) once daily. Because exposure to the contents of the capsule may cause irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa, swallow the capsule whole without chewing or breaking it. This medicine may be taken with or without food. No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. The recommended dose of this medicine in patients with hepatic impairment has not been established because there are no data on its administration to such patients.

This medication can be absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle this drug. If the capsule leaks and comes into contact with the skin, it should be washed immediately with soap and water. This medication should not be used by children under 18 years of age, and care should be taken to prevent contact with children. Women, children under 18 years of age, and individuals allergic to this drug or similar components should not take this medication. Adult men planning to conceive should use this drug cautiously after consulting a doctor, as it may affect fertility. Patients with urological issues or poor liver function should consult their doctor before using this medication and closely monitor their condition during use. Caution is needed as the body concentration of this drug may change when taken with other medications, especially strong CYP3A4 inhibitors. Sexual side effects such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorders may occur while taking this medication, and these symptoms may persist even after treatment. Regular PSA level checks are necessary to assess the risk of prostate cancer, and the drug may lower PSA levels, so caution is needed when interpreting test results. Blood donation should not occur during and for at least six months after taking this medication. Long-term use may lead to breast-related abnormalities such as male breast cancer, so notify a doctor immediately if any such abnormalities occur. There are no specific antidotes for overdose, so if symptoms are suspected, seek appropriate medical treatment immediately. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in its original container to prevent deterioration or misuse. Although there is a low possibility of affecting driving or operating machinery, caution is advised as it may vary by individual. No significant interactions have been reported with various medications taken together, but if other medications are being taken, it is essential to inform a doctor or pharmacist.
