Relief of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis
This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, and tearing of the eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis.
Instill 1 drop twice a day (every 6 to 8 hours). If necessary, treatment may continue for up to 4 months.
This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or any components of this product. While using this medication, central nervous system symptoms such as headache or taste disturbances may rarely occur, and dizziness has also been reported. Eye-related side effects such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dry eyes, eye itching, eye discharge, and eye redness may occur uncommonly. Additionally, symptoms such as glare, blurred vision, and eyelid erythema may rarely appear. Symptoms such as nasal dryness, rhinitis, dry mouth, contact dermatitis, and fatigue have also been reported. This medication is a non-sedating antihistamine and may temporarily blur vision after instillation, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. If vision blurs, wait until it clears before driving. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce the steroid dose under thorough medical supervision while using this medication. For seasonal allergy sufferers, it is recommended to start using this medication before symptoms begin and continue until symptoms resolve. If this medication is ineffective, it is advisable not to use it for an extended period. The included benzalkonium chloride may cause eye irritation and can discolor contact lenses, so caution should be exercised when wearing contact lenses. Contact lenses should be put in at least 15 minutes after instillation, and contact lens use should be avoided if the eyes are red. This medication is for local ocular use only and should not be taken orally or injected, and care should be taken to avoid contaminating the tip of the container. If using other eye drops, they should be spaced at least 5 minutes apart, and any unused portion must be discarded after one use. There is no sufficient research on the safety of this medication during pregnancy, so it should be used cautiously according to a doctor’s instructions, and during breastfeeding, the impact on the baby should be considered. The safety and efficacy for children under 3 years old have not been established, so caution is needed for their use. Elderly patients do not require separate dose adjustments. In the case of overdose, appropriate observation and management are necessary, and although there have been no reported cases of consuming an entire bottle, caution should be exercised. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight in a cool place and kept out of the reach of children. Additionally, it should not be transferred to another container, and care should be taken to maintain product quality and prevent misuse.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is packaged in special containers to safely store any leftover medication after use. Single-use products are sealed in airtight containers to prevent air entry, and the suitable storage temperature is between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. Multi-dose products come in two types; those for ocular use are stored in opaque, airtight containers at temperatures between 4 and 25 degrees Celsius. Export multi-dose.
