Relief of allergic conjunctivitis symptoms
This medication is used to relieve various symptoms such as itching, redness, and tearing of the eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis. It reduces allergic reactions to improve symptoms and minimizes discomfort, making patients' daily lives more comfortable.
Instill 1 drop twice a day (every 6-8 hours). Treatment can be provided for up to 4 months if necessary.
This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to the active ingredient or any components. While using, neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disturbances, and dizziness may occur. Watch for symptoms like punctate keratitis, eye pain, dryness, and redness in the eyes. Dryness of the nose, rhinitis, dry mouth, dermatitis, and fatigue may rarely occur. Excessive sensitivity of the eyes may develop after use, and systemic symptoms such as weakness, nausea, and liver dysfunction have been reported. Due to the presence of phosphate, caution is required for patients with corneal damage, as corneal calcification may rarely occur. Temporary blurring of vision may occur after instillation, so wait for clear vision before driving or operating machinery. If there is no effect after long-term use, it is advisable not to continue using the medication, and if receiving steroid treatment, adjust the dosage gradually as directed by a physician. Contact lens wearers should note that the lenses may discolor during use; wait at least 15 minutes after instillation before wearing lenses, and avoid wearing them when the eyes are red. The effects of this medication on fetuses or infants during pregnancy or breastfeeding are not fully clarified, so it should be used cautiously under a physician's judgment. Safety and efficacy in children under 3 years old have not been established, so it is preferable not to use this medication. Elderly patients do not require separate dosage adjustments. This medicine is a topical eye drop for use only in the eyes; do not use for other purposes and avoid letting the tip of the container touch the eyes to prevent contamination. When using with other eye drops, space them at least 5 minutes apart, and store in a container that blocks light, keeping it in a cool place out of reach of children.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is sensitive to light; it should be stored in a container that blocks light and kept at room temperature between 4 to 25 degrees Celsius. Maintaining the proper temperature and light protection is important for preserving the medication's effectiveness.
