Relief of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis
This medication is used to relieve uncomfortable symptoms such as itching, redness, and tearing of the eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis. It helps to maintain the patient's eye health and effectively improve symptoms.
Instill 1 drop twice a day (at intervals of 6 to 8 hours). Treatment can be continued for a maximum of 4 months if necessary.
This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the components of this medication. While using this medication, neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disturbances, and dizziness may occur. Ocular side effects may include keratitis, eye pain, dry eyes, eye itching, increased eye discharge, and redness of the eyes, although these occur rarely. Symptoms such as dryness of the nose or rhinitis, dry mouth, contact dermatitis, and fatigue have also been reported. After using this medication, hypersensitivity of the eyes or systemic symptoms such as weakness, nausea, pharyngitis, sinusitis, abdominal pain, liver function abnormalities, and elevated blood pressure may occasionally occur. Increased tear secretion may also be observed. This medication contains phosphates, and patients with severe corneal damage are at risk of rare side effects such as corneal calcification. This medication is a non-drowsy antihistamine, but it may temporarily blur vision after instillation, so one should wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery. Patients undergoing long-term steroid treatment should reduce their steroid dose gradually under the supervision of a physician when using this medication. Seasonal allergy patients are advised to start using this medication before symptoms begin and continue until symptoms resolve. If no effect is observed, prolonged use should be avoided, and contact lens wearers should wait at least 15 minutes after instillation before wearing lenses. It is advisable not to use this medication while wearing lenses, and to avoid wearing lenses if the eyes are red. When using this medication with other eye drops, there should be at least a 5-minute interval between instillations, and to prevent contamination, care should be taken not to let the tip of the container come in direct contact with the eyes. There has not been sufficient research on its use during pregnancy, so caution should be exercised based on a physician's judgment, and consideration should also be given to its effects on infants during nursing. Its safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 3 years old, so use should be avoided. No special dosage adjustment is necessary for elderly patients. In case of overdose, appropriate monitoring and treatment are necessary. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. Do not transfer to other containers for storage, and if the tamper-evident ring is loose, it should be removed before use.
Jaundice, urinary difficulty.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a tightly closed container that blocks light. The storage temperature should maintain room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the drug's efficacy and safety.
