Precautions

This medication may cause adverse reactions in some patients during treatment, such as diarrhea, loose stools, dry mouth, and fatigue. Serious side effects like liver dysfunction or jaundice may occur, though rarely; if symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria, and edema may occur, requiring attention. Gastrointestinal symptoms like abdominal bloating, nausea, vomiting, and taste disturbances have also been reported. Neurological or circulatory system symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, and headache can occur rarely. If symptoms do not improve after using the medication for more than two weeks, it is advisable not to use it for a long time. The effectiveness may be reduced when taken with anticholinergics, so if taken together, they should be spaced apart. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and nursing mothers should avoid taking it or stop breastfeeding if possible. Safety in pediatric patients has not been adequately established, so usage is not recommended. Elderly patients should take care to follow a doctor's guidance due to potential declines in kidney and liver function, and dosage adjustments may be necessary if adverse reactions occur. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to another container. Long-term high-dose administration has been reported to potentially cause tumor occurrence in some animal studies; therefore, strict adherence to a physician's directions is essential during long-term usage.
