Kainix 2 Eye Drops (Sodium Hyaluronate) (Single Use)

Adult eye dose

0.15%, 0.18%: 1 drop at a time, 5–6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms. Discard any remaining solution and container after use.

This medication is an eye drop solution for use in the eyes only, and should be used solely for this purpose. Those who are allergic to the ingredients of this medication or to protein-based medications should not use it. Care should be taken to avoid the tip of the container touching the eyelids or eyelashes, as contact may contaminate the solution, and the use of cloudy solutions should be avoided. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; use this medication at least 30 minutes after another eye drop. Do not use this medication while wearing soft contact lenses, and wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication before wearing lenses. Single-use products should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining medication should be discarded. It is advisable to discard the first 1-2 drops without administering them. Prevent contamination by ensuring that this medication is not used by multiple people. Possible side effects include itching of the eyelids, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal disorders, eye discharge, and ocular pain; discontinue use and consult a physician if these symptoms occur. Particularly, the phosphate component in this medication may rarely cause corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage, hence caution is advised. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, transferring the medication to another container may lead to misuse and quality degradation, so it must be stored in its original container.
