Precautions
This medication should be used with caution as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant can increase the risk of congenital malformations. Individuals with allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medication, infants under 12 months of age, and those with hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should avoid taking it. It is advisable to avoid taking this medication along with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, or levodopa during treatment. Consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication if receiving treatment for a specific condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have certain diseases such as peptic ulcer, heart/circulatory diseases, kidney disease, liver disease, or gout. If any abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, hair loss, or gastrointestinal disturbances occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, since the vitamin A content of this medication can be sufficiently supplied through a normal diet, caution should be exercised not to exceed a supplementary dose of 5,000 IU daily. When taking this medication, it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it is best to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking it. Store this medication out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place.
