This medication should not be used on areas with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections. It should be avoided if there is an allergy or hypersensitivity to this drug or its components. Caution is needed when used in patients with exudative otitis media with a perforated tympanic membrane, as it may delay wound healing. It is advisable not to use it on skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite areas. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should avoid using this medication. It should not be used on areas with diaper rash or anal and genital itching. It is safer not to use this medication in children under 4 years old and on the face. Pregnant women, women of childbearing age, and nursing mothers should use this drug with caution, especially avoiding use during the first three months of pregnancy. Children and the elderly should be careful when using this medication due to a higher risk of side effects. Also, this medication contains propylene glycol, so care should be taken if there is an allergy to this component. Using this medication may cause side effects such as skin infections, itching, rashes, redness, and irritation. Long-term use can lead to side effects such as skin thinning or pigmentation changes, and acne-like symptoms, so if symptoms appear, one should stop using it and consult a doctor. Long-term use over large areas or in occlusive dressings may result in the absorption of corticosteroids into the body, suppressing pituitary and adrenal function, hence regular examinations are required. Caution is needed when used around the eyes due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. As a principle, this medication should not be used for dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, but if it is necessary to use it, it is preferable to use it alongside antibiotics or antifungals. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used for purposes other than treatment, such as after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, it should always be done under the guidance of a physician, and the affected area must be cleaned before use. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, and care should be taken as it may worsen skin conditions when used by psoriasis patients.
