Eye-related adverse symptoms such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dry eyes, eye itching, eye discharge, and eye redness may also arise, so caution is advised. Rarely, symptoms such as dry nose, rhinitis, dry mouth, contact dermatitis, and fatigue may occur. After using this drug, excessive sensitivity of the eyes or symptoms such as lethargy, cold symptoms, nausea, pharyngitis, sinusitis, and elevated blood pressure may occur, so if any unusual symptoms arise, consult a doctor immediately. This drug contains phosphates, and corneal calcification may rarely occur in patients with severe corneal damage, so caution is needed. This drug is a non-sedating antihistamine, which may temporarily blur vision after instillation, so one should wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce the steroid dosage under the supervision of a doctor while using this medication. Patients with seasonal allergies should start using this medication before symptoms worsen and continue usage until symptoms resolve. If the eyes are red, it is advisable to avoid wearing contact lenses. There is limited research on drug interactions with this medication, so if other medications are being used, consult a doctor or pharmacist. During pregnancy, the effects of this medication on the fetus are not clearly known, so it should be used cautiously under a doctor's guidance. Lactating women should consider the potential effects of this medication being excreted in breast milk on their baby when deciding on its use. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children under 3 years old have not been established, so use should be avoided. Elderly patients can use it without separate dosage adjustment. This medication is a locally administered eye drop and should not be taken orally or injected, and care should be taken to avoid direct contact between the tip of the container and the eye or hands during use. If using other eye drops, at least a 5-minute interval should be maintained, and ointments should be administered last.
