Vitamin E helps maintain health in old age and is used to relieve shoulder and neck stiffness, numbness in hands and feet, and cold extremities associated with peripheral circulation disorders and menopause. It is also effective in improving muscle cramps due to magnesium deficiency.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults aged 12 and over: Take 1 capsule twice a day

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to specific ingredients or have hypersensitivity reactions. Additionally, it should be avoided by infants under 12 months of age, patients with severe renal impairment, and those with allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts. It is recommended not to take certain medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline, and antacids alongside this medication. Patients undergoing treatment from a doctor, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, patients with heart or circulatory diseases, and individuals with renal impairment must consult a professional before taking this medicine. Also, patients with abnormalities in fat metabolism such as hypoproteinemia, hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, and pancreatitis should exercise caution. This medication contains a colorant known as Red 40, so those allergic to this component should use it carefully. If you experience symptoms such as gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, skin rash or red spots, irregular heartbeat, or central nervous system depression during use, discontinue and consult a doctor immediately. If menstrual cycles become shorter or bleeding increases, consult a professional. Precaution is advised, especially if you are taking contraceptives containing estrogen or at risk of thrombosis, as the risk of thrombosis may increase with Vitamin E use. In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, heart failure, and edema may occur, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage. Care must be taken when using this medication alongside potassium-sparing diuretics or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia. If symptoms do not improve after more than a month of use, it is advisable to consult a specialist. It is recommended to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during and around the time of taking this medication, and patients at risk of fat overload should regularly check their blood lipid levels and adjust their dosage accordingly. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer this medication into another container to maintain its quality.
