How to take

Adult dose

For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone, take 1 tablet daily with water, regardless of meals. Since each component's dosage is fixed, it is recommended to adjust each component's dosage individually before switching to this combination. When clinically appropriate, direct conversion from monotherapy to this medication can also be considered. - Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in pediatric patients under 18 years of age.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious side effects to the fetus or newborn, especially when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; thus, it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication should not be administered to patients with allergies to specific ingredients or hypersensitivity to sulfonamide drugs, pregnant women in the second and third trimesters, nursing mothers, patients with bile duct obstruction or cholestasis, and patients with severe liver or kidney diseases. Use of this medication should be avoided during pregnancy, and it is recommended to switch to other safe antihypertensive treatments if planning for pregnancy or if pregnancy is suspected.
