How to take

Adult dose

In patients for whom blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of telmisartan, take this medication once daily with water, regardless of meals. The combination of Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide 40/12.5 mg can be administered to patients for whom blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 40 mg of telmisartan. The combination of Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide 80/12.5 mg can be administered to patients for whom blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 80 mg of telmisartan.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in children under 18 years have not been established for this medication.

Precautions

This drug should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause severe side effects to the fetus and newborn. Administration should be avoided in individuals with a known allergy to the components of this drug or hypersensitivity to sulfonamide drugs.
