Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. Patients with allergies to the active ingredients or excipients of this medication, those with hypersensitivity to sulfonamide drugs, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with biliary obstructive diseases, and those with severe liver or kidney disorders should not use this medication. Elderly patients, those with hyperkalemia, liver impairment, cardiovascular disease, etc., should use this medication with caution, and carefully observe skin condition as there may be an increased risk of skin cancer. This medication lowers blood pressure, which may cause dizziness, hypotension, or fainting. If such symptoms occur, avoid driving or operating machinery. This medication may cause electrolyte imbalances, so regular monitoring of serum potassium, sodium, and magnesium levels is necessary, and caution is required when used in conjunction with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing agents. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, dehydration, or insufficient fluids and sodium should improve their condition before using this medication, as it may increase the risk of worsening kidney function, requiring periodic monitoring. Interactions may occur when used with other antihypertensives, diuretics, lithium preparations, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc., so consultation with a physician is necessary.
