Patients have a condition where SGPT levels are continuously elevated due to chronic persistent hepatitis. This medication helps to relieve liver inflammation and improve liver function. It aids in reducing liver damage and supporting the restoration of normal liver function to maintain health. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of chronic persistent hepatitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Usually, for adults, take 1 capsule 3 times a day orally after meals.

Precautions

This drug should not be administered to patients with complete bile duct obstruction. It should be used cautiously in patients with chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis, hypokalemia, severe pancreatic disorders, peptic ulcers, and cholelithiasis. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may occur occasionally with this medication. Rarely, abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, and upper abdominal discomfort may occur. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or rash may appear, and in such cases, the use of antihistamines may be helpful. Transient jaundice may occur, but symptoms will resolve if the medication is discontinued or if jaundice treatment is used. Occasionally, general fatigue or dizziness may appear, so caution is advised. The medication should be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage. If symptoms do not improve after taking it for more than 8 weeks or if abnormal symptoms occur, consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is important to keep it out of the reach of children. Women who are pregnant or of childbearing potential should avoid using this medication as it may harm the fetus. Additionally, when taken with oral diabetes medications, the effect of the diabetes medication may be enhanced, so use with caution and consult a professional.
