This medication is used in the treatment of hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina leading to myocardial ischemia. Furthermore, for patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease during recent angiography, not presenting with heart failure or a cardiac output of less than 40%, it helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina and decrease the risks associated with coronary angioplasty. Therefore, it is effective in improving several symptoms related to cardiovascular diseases.
