View approved original text

This medication is used to treat essential hypertension, effectively lowering blood pressure and improving cardiovascular health. It is also used for patients with heart failure who have reduced left ventricular contractile function, particularly those corresponding to NYHA class II to IV and with a left ventricular ejection fraction of 40% or less. This medication is beneficial in cases where additional treatment with ACE inhibitors is necessary or not tolerated well. It supports heart function and alleviates symptoms, contributing to improving the quality of life for patients. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of essential hypertension and certain heart failure patients.
