Precautions

Caution is required when administering more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A daily to women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as it may cause congenital malformations. In cases of excessive intake in children, severe poisoning can occur, potentially leading to death, so it should be stored out of reach of children. Patients with specific diseases such as hypercalcemia, kidney diseases, certain blood disorders, and those with allergic constitutions should not take this medication, nor should those allergic to any of the ingredients contained in it. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders such as hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, and pancreatitis should use this medication cautiously. This medication should not be taken concurrently with pharmaceuticals such as phosphates, calcium salts, tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, or levodopa during the treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with specific gastrointestinal diseases, and heart and kidney issues must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, hypotension, or irregular heartbeats occur during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Care should be taken as long-term high-dose administration may lead to neurological abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, liver damage, and hypercalcemia. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and the maximum intake of 5,000 IU of Vitamin A should not be exceeded as sufficient dietary supply is required for supportive therapy. This medication can affect blood glucose test results and discolor urine yellow, which may interfere with clinical tests; thus, it should be noted when conducting tests. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, during treatment. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
