Chronic persistent hepatitis characterized by continuous elevation of SGPT is a condition where inflammation of the liver persists for a long time, leading to diminished liver function. It is crucial to prevent damage to the liver and normalize its function. Therefore, medications used for this condition serve to protect liver cells, reduce inflammation, and assist in the recovery of liver function. Patients are advised to maintain a healthy lifestyle alongside ongoing treatment for liver health. This medication is used for the treatment of chronic persistent hepatitis.
