This medicine is effective in controlling blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension and is also used in patients with heart failure symptoms due to impaired left ventricular systolic function. It is particularly useful in cases where additional ACE inhibitors need to be taken or when ACE inhibitors cannot be used. Therefore, it contributes to both blood pressure management and improvement of heart failure symptoms.
