This medication is effective for various joint diseases, such as chronic multifocal arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also alleviates painful swelling and inflammation that occur after trauma or surgery, and assists in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, or fever. Overall, this medication is used to reduce inflammation and pain and improve discomfort.

How to take

Adult dose

As dexibuprofen, take 300 mg orally 2-4 times daily with meals. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg as dexibuprofen.

Child dose

As dexibuprofen, administer approximately 15 mg per kg of body weight orally divided into 2-4 doses daily. Children weighing less than 30 kg should not exceed a total daily dose of 300 mg.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is required. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, thus caution is necessary for patients with heart or vascular diseases or risk factors. If cardiovascular symptoms occur, immediate consultation with medical personnel is required.
