Relief of constipation, loss of appetite, and abdominal bloating.
This medication is effective in improving constipation and also helps relieve symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation abnormalities, and hemorrhoids due to constipation. It primarily promotes intestinal motility to assist smooth bowel movements and alleviate associated discomfort. Therefore, it is used to relieve constipation and its related symptoms.
Aged 15 years and older: Take 1-2 tablets once daily at bedtime. Do not chew the tablets and take them with an adequate amount of water. For the first dose, take the minimum dose and adjust gradually while observing the shape and condition of the stool.
Aged 11 years and older to under 15 years: Take 1-2 tablets once daily at bedtime. Do not chew the tablets and take them with an adequate amount of water.
This medication should not be used by patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction. It should also be avoided in cases of abdominal pain accompanied by severe nausea or vomiting. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Patients with fluid and electrolyte imbalances, such as severe dehydration, should also avoid this medication. It is safest not to use this medication in children under 7 years old. When taking this medication, it should not be taken within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk, and mineral oil should not be taken concurrently. If severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting occurs, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consider the benefits and risks of this medication before taking it. Consult a healthcare professional if taking other medications or if experiencing rectal bleeding or intestinal dysfunction. If rash, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, or other unusual symptoms occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult medical staff. If constipation does not improve after one week of use, discontinue and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and when administered to children, the guardian's supervision is required. It is advisable to avoid administration in children under 10 years old except in special cases. Long-term use may lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalances and hypokalemia, so caution is necessary. Consult a healthcare professional prior to use if the patient has reduced kidney function or is elderly, as dehydration symptoms may occur. This medication does not have a weight loss effect and should not be used for weight reduction purposes. Blood in the stool may occur after taking this medication, but it is generally a mild symptom. Dizziness or fainting symptoms have been reported, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery while taking it. In case of overdose, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and electrolyte loss may occur, and in severe cases, medical treatment may be necessary. Taking this medication with other laxatives may increase gastrointestinal-related side effects, so caution is advised. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. For quality maintenance, it is best not to transfer to another container.
