This medication is used for the treatment of dry skin associated with itching, particularly for xerosis in the elderly, adults, and dry skin in children.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (area of disease) 1 to several times daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on mucous membrane areas such as around the eyes or lips. Avoid use on areas that are wounded, red and swollen, chafed, or severely cracked. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions such as rashes, redness, itching, or swelling due to medications or cosmetics in the past should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. It is also advisable for individuals currently receiving treatment from a doctor to consult with a professional prior to use. When using, be sure to follow the prescribed method, and if a child uses it, it should be under adult supervision. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with cold or lukewarm water and seek medical attention from an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist. This medication is for external use only on the skin and should not be ingested or taken internally.
