This medication is used to treat constipation and also helps relieve symptoms caused by constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids. In other words, it is effective in improving constipation and various uncomfortable symptoms associated with it.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older: 2 to 3 tablets per dose Take once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, start with the minimum dose and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15 years: 1 to 2 tablets per dose Take once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, start with the minimum dose and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, or by children under 7 years old. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic conditions should not take it. It is advisable to avoid taking antacids or milk while on this medication, and avoid taking this medication within 1 hour after consumption. If you experience severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, are pregnant or may become pregnant, or are taking other medications, consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals on a sodium-restricted diet, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal failure should also consult a healthcare professional before use. If rash, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occurs while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If constipation symptoms do not improve after 1 week, stop taking this medication and consult a doctor. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration closely, and administer to children under the supervision of a guardian. Especially for children under 10 years, it is advisable to avoid use if possible. Do not chew the tablets; swallow them whole. Long-term use may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, so it is advisable not to use it for more than 1 week. If you find you need a laxative every day, be sure to check the reason for the constipation. Store this medication out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep it tightly sealed. Moreover, it is important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
