It also helps alleviate pain and swelling resulting from trauma or surgery. It assists in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever to relieve symptoms. Overall, it is effective in improving inflammation and pain associated with joints.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Administer 300 mg of dexibuprofen orally, 2 to 4 times daily. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastric bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than 3 alcoholic beverages per day, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution is advised for patients with a history or risk factors for cardiovascular disease since this medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular problems. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication concurrently with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate. Additionally, avoid taking corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants, baclofen, immunosuppressants, thrombolytics, ticlopidine, anticoagulants, or agents that affect blood potassium levels.
